The Waypoint Offshore liferaft is possibly one of the very few leisure liferafts that offers you peace of mind in Offshore Sea conditions ( Green water ).
It is a genuine Offshore liferaft, unlike some of the other rafts built in the Far East, which are called Offshore rafts by their importers, but do not even have reflective tape on their canopies.
Like the rest of the Waypoint range it is built in our own factory in Europe from entirely European made materials.
The body fabric is a High Tenacity Nylon, coated with extruded PU, in the United Kingdom, by the leading company in the field of coated textiles. It is possibly one of the best fabrics for use in the harsh environment of the salt water. The floor is double with a thermal insulation for the colder climates.
A large entrance, on the bright Florescent yellow nylon coated canopy makes boarding easy.
On the opposite side there is the water collection gutter with an outlook window for extra ventilation and as an extra observation window.
It is extremely stable in rough weather conditions with its 4 large (55 ltrs each) water ballast pockets
Reflective tape is fitted on both sides of the canopy, making it easy to spot in the dark, during a rescue operation.
Automatically activated light system on the outside, on top of the canopy and inside the liferaft are standard, to ensure maximum visibility conditions in the dark.
Vacuum packed and a 3 year service interval are another bonus.
